Strong Point Traffic Management Activity by Cilegon Police Enhances Public Service During Holiday Season

Cilegon, Banten – June 3, 2026 – As part of its commitment to improving public services and ensuring smooth traffic flow during the holiday season, the Cilegon Resort Police (Polres Cilegon) under the Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) conducted a Strong Point Traffic Management Operation along the tourism route connecting Cilegon and Anyer on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

The activity was carried out as part of the flagship program initiated by the Chief of Cilegon Police, AKBP Dr. Martua Raja Taripar Laut Silitonga, under the theme “Innovative Cilegon Police” (Polres Cilegon Inovatif). The program emphasizes professional, responsive, and community-oriented policing services aimed at enhancing public trust and safety.

During the operation, police personnel were deployed at several strategic points along the busy tourism corridor, which experiences a significant increase in traffic volume during holidays and weekends. Officers focused on regulating traffic flow, preventing congestion, and assisting motorists traveling to and from popular tourist destinations in the coastal area of Anyer.

According to police officials, the Strong Point activity reflects the dedication of the Cilegon Police to providing maximum protection, guidance, and service to the community. The presence of police officers on the roads is intended to ensure that traffic moves smoothly, minimize delays, and create a safe and comfortable environment for road users.

“The implementation of traffic management duties is a mandatory responsibility for all personnel of the Cilegon Police as a tangible form of public service. In addition to traffic regulation, officers also took the opportunity to deliver road safety messages and public awareness campaigns to motorists. Members of the Cilegon Police reminded drivers and riders to obey traffic regulations, maintain discipline while driving, use safety equipment, and prioritize caution to reduce the risk of traffic accidents.
